 SCHOLARSHIPS

Please make sure you are aware of all DEADLINES to apply!

If a scholarship requires a NOMINATION, you must provide the required information to your nominator about 10 days before the deadline to give him/her ample time to write you a good recommendation. Students must follow guidelines carefully when applying for scholarships requiring nomination.

Desoto County school counselors encourage students to be pro-active in searching for and pursuing scholarships.

The best source for scholarship information is the financial aid office of the college/university you wish to attend.

Great, free sites we recommend for scholarship searches are www.mschoices.org, www.fastweb.com, www.Zinch.com, and www.f4k.org
